Eugenio Rattà


Biography

Born and lives in Rome, he attended four years of Industrial Technical Institute and then moved on to the Art School, then graduated in architecture at La Sapienza in Rome. Thesis in Stylistic and Constructive Characteristics of Monuments studying the "Palazzo del Collegio Romano" including: the Church of Sant'Ignazio, the Liceo Visconti, the Meteorological Institute and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage with a project to restore the places to the initial desinatone. He works as an architect in various studios in Rome and then began a career as an architect, intervening in houses and shops in the historic center of Rome, at the Castelli Romani, in the Valle di Vejo, Olgiata etc., for exclusive clients. In addition, as an Artistic Designer, he works on furnishing complements made entirely by hand, using materials such as copper, iron, steel, crystal, gold and silver leaf, etc. etc.

Over the years, he has attracted the interest of many magazines specializing in furniture and design that launch him as an artistic designer, attracting the curiosity of Italian, European and United States collectors.

He never abandons painting, which he begins to practice as a child, until he arrives at exhibiting his works, in the most important Italian and European museums and in famous galleries, receiving different mentions and awards.

Always a scholar of American, English, French and Italian Pop Art (Johns Warhol, Rauchenberg, Hamilton, Blake, Rosenquaiest, Lichtenstein, Schifano ... ..)

His painting is inspired and dedicated to the artists of Pop Art because no one like them has succeeded in bringing art to people without creating barriers, and that art is also present in a cardboard packaging.
